Data Recovery/Backup
Being faced with a computer that simply will not start can be an extremely daunting experience especially if you have the only copy of your precious data stored on it. The Seaton Computer Consultant has years’ experience of retrieving valuable data. Even if your computer does not boot up in most circumstances your data will be retrievable if you bring your computer to us.
We can also give advice and set up a suitable backup for your data to avoid data loss. This could be in the form of online backup such as: icloud, OneDrive or physical/onsite backup which you can store somewhere safe.
Virus/Malicious software removal
If you suspect that your computer may be infected with a virus or malicious software, there is an excellent chance that the Seaton Computer Consultant can quarantine and remove the infection.
Some signs of an infection could be:
o Changes to your browser settings and home page
o Unwanted pop up screens and banners.
o Computer not responding or responding much more slowly.
o Any odd behaviour by your computer
Once we remove the infection and get your computer healthy again, we will take necessary steps to make sure your machine is better protected to prevent future attacks.

Memory/Storage upgrade

We will be able to take a look at your machine and tell you whether a simply memory upgrade is possible and how much it will cost. Memory (RAM) upgrades start from £20 and can make a huge difference to the response time you get from your computer.
If your machine is constantly complaining about lack of Disc space, we can advise on possible storage (Hard Drive) upgrades and replacements for your machine.

Are you having problems with your broadband/Internet connection? Are you connected one minute but the next it is gone?

We can help set up a new wireless printer or usb printer professionally and quickly so you don’t need to worry about it. Printing from your PC, iMac, iPad, Android Tablet or smart phone can all be sorted.
If your printer suddenly stops printing, we can reconnect it and get it up and running so you can get your printing done.
Assistance in purchasing your IT equipment
The Seaton Computer Consultant will be more than happy to discuss your IT requirements with you and make recommendations which will assist in the purchase of brand new equipment. Once your equipment is delivered by the manufacturer, we can come and set it all up for you.
If you have existing computers which you are replacing, we can transfer any data as needed.
